Web treasure hunt:
Hint for question 3

A hint

There are many ways to look up a state law. Here are two.

The fastest course might be to consult an interest group that keeps track of this subject. There are groups on bicycle safety, even on bicyle helmets. The Yahoo directory is good for this sort of search. One hint that can help you on Yahoo is to use its search lingo. For example, if you search for "bicycle safety" (using the quotes) you'll find only directory listings that contain that phrase; in this case "bicycle and safety" (without the quotes, because it's a command, not a phrase) may do better. Try it both ways. Similarly, compare the results you get from "bicycle helmet" and "bicycle helmets" (each search separately, with the quotes to indicate a phrase). See a difference?

Keep digging until you find a site listing laws in each state, or at least in states having such laws.
