E-Mail
There is no complete E-Mail directory. The following seem to do the best, pulling addresses from Usenet postings, voluntary directories and the like. Often it's easier to guess an address.
Experts
Well, maybe these aren't all experts. But they give good quote.
Phones
The residential telephone listings on the Web do not come from up-to-the-minute directory assistance from the major phone companies. But searching is convenient.
Public records
Not free, these services charge for database searches, backgrounding, public records checks, etc.
Reverse directories
Start with what you know -- address, phone number, E-mail address -- and find the person. (If the person is listed. Remember, this is not tied to up-to-date "directory assistance.")
Addresses.com The largest e-mail address database and directory on the web. Varied method of performing searches using phone numbers, e-mail and home addresses. Also able to search for businesses, zip codes, area codes, schools and even persons.
AnyWho Free lookup site by AT&T (does not use billing records of it's customers) for locating a person or business using White Pages, or for finding a business by type, using Yellow pages. All residential listings were obtained from public phone directories and are updated every 3 months, while business White and Yellow Page listings were obtained from InfoSpace and are updated monthly.
Argali White & Yellow Argali White & Yellow searches multiple telephone (and related) directories at once. Many different search types are supported: people, business, toll-free, reverse search (by phone or address), search for area and zip codes. Argali also searches for maps, email addresses and weather conditions and forecast. Search results can be sorted by name, address, street, city, state, zip code or phone number and can also be saved on disk in various formats (plain text, csv/excel, or html). The program automatically remembers your last twenty searches. Aggregates info. from more than 25 sources/sites (Yahoo, InfoSpace and AnyWho).
The Doe Network Allows searches (by name, date, location, or keyword) for missing persons, unexplained disappearances, and unidentified victims' cold cases. The site is maintained by volunteers but has useful information that might not be as readily available elsewhere.
Unclaimed Persons List Sparely designed but fairly comprehensive database from San Bernardino, California, with records of unclaimed deceased persons throughout the United States. Searches can be done by US county or by name.
